Cape Tourism Steady in 2019; Rentals and Surfing Shaky

13 September 2019 — EASTHAM, MA – While Cape Cod didn’t seem to see a significant decrease in tourism overall this summer, changes in the Cape landscape presented some industries with newfound challenges. A new lodging tax hamstrung homeowners looking to attract rentals and the increase in great white sharks damaged businesses catering to surfers.
