17 April 2020 — EASTHAM, MA — Town meeting is an annual rite of spring across the Cape, but that tradition landed on hold this year. Legislation signed into law by Gov. Charlie Baker provides Massachusetts towns with special provisions, including the authority to postpone town meeting and delay responsibilities like town budget, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

16 March 2020 — Eastham, MA — Coronavirus is on the Cape. Cape Cod Hospital confirmed Barnstable county’s first case on Saturday, March 14 and as of March 16, there are 164 confirmed cases in Massachusetts and two on Cape Cod. In response, Gov. Charlie Baker closed all schools until April 6, banned gathering of over 25 people and limited restaurants to take-out and delivery services only.

PSA Join the Nauset Booster Club for the 6th annual Boost the Black and Gold Event to support Nauset High Schools Athletic Department. The event is held on March 15th at Ocean Edge Resort from 4-7pm.
21 January 2020 — EASTHAM, MA — The southern portion of Nauset Light Beach Road is in danger of falling into the ocean. In response, the town of Eastham and National Seashore announced a project that will relocate the road about one-quarter mile west by the end of the spring.
